Jane McKenna honoured at American Ireland Fund’s Gala dinner in Boston…

More than 1,000 guests gathered recently for The American Ireland Fund’s 29th Annual Boston Gala at the Westin Boston Waterfront. The fundraiser, one of The Ireland Fund’s 100-plus worldwide events, supports Irish philanthropic causes and a portion of the proceeds of the 2010 Gala will benefit LauraLynn House.  We are so grateful to Steve Greeley and everyone at the American Ireland Fund for honouring us at such a high profile event.

The event was a real “who’s who” benefit and guests on the night included the Irish Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Collins, Massachusetts Lt. Governor Tim Murray, State Treasurer-elect Steve Grossman and many high profile Boston Executives including Jack Sebastian, Managing Director, Goldman Sachs & Co.; William J. Teuber, Jr. Vice Chairman, EMC Corporation; Gerald Hassell, President, BNY Mellon; and Scott Powers, President & CEO, State Street Global Advisors.

Jane and Brendan McKenna received a standing ovation in support of the tireless work they have done to establish LauraLynn House .
