LauraLynn Heroes Ball A Great Success

LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice are celebrating the success of their fifth Heroes Ball.

LauraLynn Heroes Ball 2022

A very special night took place on 7th May 2022 when we celebrated the return our LauraLynn Heroes Ball.  The atmosphere was one of fun, anticipation and excitement with everyone delighted (and relieved!) to finally be coming together for this special night after so long in the waiting.

Guests enjoyed a drinks reception and gala dinner hosted by LauraLynn patron Miriam O’Callaghan, and joined in fun and fundraising, with an array of exciting and luxury prizes up for grabs. Alan Shortt brought his unique fun and talent to our live auction, and guests were treated to a surprise performance by the one and only Riverdance! The night finished on a high with the dancefloor packed well into the early hours.

Ronan Dunne, whose son attends LauraLynn, kindly shared his family’s story to explain why the services of LauraLynn are so badly needed and can help children and their families through the toughest of times.

The kindness of our sponsors, guests, event supporters and suppliers, and the generosity of our auction and raffle prize donors ensured a hugely successful fundraising outcome with €164,000 raised from the event.

The fundraising and impact it has on the children and families in our care, is only possible through the generosity of many people and businesses. LauraLynn extends a huge thank you to:

Our Major Sponsors DCC plc (Gold), William Fry and SMBC Aviation Capital (Silver) and Verve The Live Agency (Event Management).  And other sponsors Findlater & Co, Davy, Asset Recruitment, Park Developments, Lindt & Sprungli.
