Three finalist nominations celebrate LauraLynn's leadership, fundraising and continued impact for children and families.
LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice, is asking supporters to vote in the People's Choice Award at the 2026 Charities Institute Ireland (Cii) Charity Excellence Awards.
This opportunity comes after LauraLynn was shortlisted as a finalist in three categories: Charity of the Year, Excellence in Charity of the Year and Fundraising Campaign of the Year.
Recognising Locks of Love
The Fundraising Campaign of the Year nomination recognises LauraLynn's Locks of Love campaign, which gives people the opportunity to donate their hair to a wig charity while fundraising to support children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Since launching in 2021, Locks of Love has raised more than €4 million for LauraLynn. In 2025 alone, the campaign raised €843,000, exceeded its fundraising target and engaged supporters across all 26 counties. The nomination recognises the dedication of the fundraising team, as well as the generosity and commitment of the many participants and supporters who have helped make the campaign such a success.
Vote for LauraLynn
While most winners are chosen by a judging panel, the People's Choice Award is decided entirely by public vote. All finalists are included in this category, giving members of the public the opportunity to support the charities whose work matters to them.
Voting is simple and takes just a moment. Supporters can cast their vote through the official Cii voting link.
The winners will be announced at the Charity Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday, 5th November 2026, at The Round Room in the Mansion House, Dublin 2.

LauraLynn was also shortlisted in the Excellence in Charity Leadership and Fundraising Team of the Year categories at the 2025 awards.
