On Tuesday, 27th October, the magic of Halloween came alive at LauraLynn thanks to the incredible effort of everyone involved in the much-loved Annual Halloween Parade. Children and young people from Hazel House and LauraLynn took part in the very special event, along with families, volunteers and staff.
The parade was a spectacular display of imagination, featuring fantastic costumes designed and assembled by students from TU Dublin for the children and young people, with the generous support of Google and Project Management Group Ltd. Some participants travelled in style on colourful floats provided by Buggyman, while Tallaght Marching Band provided the music.
Adding to the excitement was a special line-up of guests, including members of An Garda Síochána and the iconic 501st Legion Ireland Star Wars Garrison.
The festive atmosphere was helped along by Premier Facepainting Ireland, who got everyone parade-ready, and Brother Bean Coffee, who served hot drinks for all to enjoy. LauraLynn's windows were beautifully decorated with the help of corporate supporters Grafton Group Plc, Bibby Financial Services and Microsoft. Order of Malta kept everyone safe throughout the day.
More than just a parade, the event was a celebration of the joy and precious memories LauraLynn strives to create. Thank you to the children who took part, and to all the volunteers and staff who went above and beyond to make the day so special.
