We are absolutely delighted to announce rugby star Tommy O’Brien as our newest LauraLynn Ambassador.
Tommy, known for his dynamic performances on the pitch, is now bringing that same energy and passion to support Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice. To kick off his ambassadorship, Tommy braved the elements at the iconic Forty Foot in Dublin to officially launch our annual ‘Dip In for LauraLynn’ challenge.
A Word from Tommy
Speaking about his new role, Tommy shared his excitement about joining the LauraLynn community:
“I am truly honoured to join LauraLynn as an Ambassador. The work they do for children and families across the country is nothing short of incredible and I am delighted to be able to raise awareness of that and encourage people to support them.”
Take the Plunge with Tommy
Tommy is calling on brave souls across Ireland to join him and take the plunge on Sunday, 21st December.
Whether it’s your local beach, a river, a lake, or even a plunge pool, we are asking you to brave the icy waters to raise vital funds for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Encouraging everyone to get involved, Tommy added:
“Please consider taking on this challenge and raising much needed funds that will allow LauraLynn be there for seriously ill children and their families at all stages of their journey.”
