Chief Executive Officer 

Kerry McLaverty is a highly experienced healthcare professional with over 15 years experience working in the healthcare, not-for-profit and voluntary sectors. Her healthcare management and leadership skills are underpinned by an extensive clinical background in Physiotherapy and Paediatrics, along with strong clinical research and teaching experience as a former annual lecturer at RCSI and within the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP).

Kerry has experience in matters of corporate governance and company law having held roles as Company Secretary at LauraLynn and as Honorary Editor and member of the Board of Directors of the ISCP.

Kerry received a JFK academic scholarship to attend Mercyhurst University, Pennsylvania in 1998. She graduated in 2002 with a BSc. in Sports Medicine and then completed an accelerated MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Ulster.

Kerry is passionate about children’s palliative care and disabilities. She a long-standing member of the LauraLynn team, having initially been recruited to the Physiotherapy Department in 2012. Kerry assumed the position of Clinical Services Manager in 2014 and later in 2016, she commenced the role of Head of Operations at LauraLynn.
