You can of course request a sponsorship card. Please note - the Sponsorship Card is numbered and logged so when you are finished fundraising you must return it to us by post so we can confirm all funds raised have been donated. The ways to donate are on the back of the card. You can register for your card here: 50km to Remember in November - Sponsorship Card Request Form

Unfortunately, we can’t issue refunds through Facebook but people can request a refund themselves from Facebook by following the below steps:

Send them this link: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/162031714239823

Select - I donated to a fundraiser on Facebook
Select - I want a refund for my donation(s)
Select - I made a donation by accident and request the refund.

If someone not on Facebook wants to donate, they should still be able to do so. Share the direct link of your fundraiser with them and they can enter their details. Alternatively, there are two other options for them to support your fundraiser.

  1. They can give you the cash or transfer you the funds (via Revolut, PayPalMe, Online Banking etc) and you can add the donation to your fundraiser yourself.
  2. They can donate directly to LauraLynn via www.lauralynn.ie/donate
  • Click “What inspired your donation?”
  • Click “This money is from a fundraising event or collection”.
  • Then in the “Details” box please ask your friend to put your name and “50K to Remember in November” in the message box so we know the donation is to be logged under your name.

No, the goal is to walk/run 50km throughout the whole month of November. It is up to you how many kms you wish to do each day, and what suits your lifestyle.

You can use the personal tracker in the leaflet we post in your pack, just write down how many kms you complete on a given day. You can use an App, such as Strava, to track your distance. Don’t forget to post in the Facebook Group too and let us know how you’re doing. It’ll offer you some warm support along the way.

Yes, we welcome all family members to take part in this special 50km journey with you. As long as children are supervised along the way for a safe and memorable walk.

Of course. Setting a goal of 50km and then exceeding that goal would be wonderful.

We suggest starting on November 1st and continuing throughout the month but if the timing doesn’t suit you then feel free to pick a time that does.

You can absolutely complete this challenge as an organisation or work group. Perhaps this is in memory of a colleague or someone dear to your team. If you would like to know more about getting your workplace involved in this challenge, email Niamh or Claire at corporate@lauralynn.ie
