FAQs - Hero Day

During Children’s Hospice Week (18th - 24th May), everyone dresses up as their hero and donates €2 to LauraLynn Children’s Hospice. The costume could be a superhero or a person who inspires you like a nurse, firefighter or a parent!

Friday, May 23rd. Can’t make that date? Not a problem, just pick another day.

Yes! If you want the buzz of knowing thousands of other people are getting dressed up at the same time too, then go for Friday 23rd May. But if that date isn’t a winner then no worries, just get your costume out on a day that suits you.

Absolutely 100% no. You do not! In fact, we think it’s awesome if you don’t. You could decorate your own clothes with a stars, lightning strikes, make your mask or cape… the list is endless. Just google DIY costumes for easy ideas. Or try a local charity shop or borrow one from a friend.

Of course! That would make you an awesome fundraiser and mean you’re making an even bigger difference to children in our hospice.
