LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice, had a proud night at the 2026 Irish Healthcare Centre Awards, held on Friday, 22nd May, at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin. Our LauraLynn in the Community team won the Community Care Services award, while our Hazel House team was named a finalist in the Healthcare Initiative - Disability Services category.
Community Care Services - Winners
LauraLynn in the Community was recognised for its outstanding work in establishing a National Community Hospice Service for Children with Life-Limiting Conditions and Palliative Care Needs. Our Community teams operate from our hospice in Dublin, with regional offices in Mallow and Ballinasloe, working collaboratively alongside existing community services to support children and families close to home. The service provides targeted nursing and therapeutic supports and palliative care to whole family units - including parents and siblings.

Healthcare Initiative - Disability Services - Finalists
Our Hazel House team was also recognised as a finalist for the Healthcare Initiative - Disability Services category, for the project 'Respite Matters: A Model of Care that supports every child'. This nomination reflects our commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality, and family-centred respite care that adapts to meet the unique and complex needs of every child who comes through our doors.
